Q: Where are you located?
A: We meet in the Fellowship Hall of St. Paul United Methodist
Church. St. Paul is located at the intersection of Grand Ave. and Albert
Pike, in Fort Smith, directly across the street from Hardees and EZ
Mart. Enter in the door under the awning that is on the northeast corner
of the building.
Q: How much does it cost to join?
A: We don't publicly post our prices as we prefer to speak with our
future students in person about the "cost" of joining our classes. As we
are a ministry of St. Paul and not a commercial school our costs may be
less that area commercial schools but there are other expectations that
need to be explained to the students and their family members that are
expected to be a student in our school. These extra "costs" tie to
participation in service projects, community volunteering, etc.
Q: How long will it take me to get a black
belt?
A: In our style, the curriculum is set up to enable a student to earn
their black belt in approximately 30 months. However, almost all of our
students have "life events" that occur during this time and take longer
than the minimum amount of time. Our school has been present in Fort
Smith since 1996 and we expect our students to live by the following
precept: "Nothing comes before God and family."
